# UIPrompt > UIPrompt is a visual canvas that turns UI ideas into a structured AI context > your coding agent can build from. You lay out components, write a targeted > prompt for each one, declare your tech stack, and export a JSON context that > Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Windsurf or Codex can consume > in one shot. ## What it is UIPrompt is not a design tool and not a hosted app builder. It produces the *context* your existing AI coding agent needs — component structure, per-component prompts, tech stack, and design constraints — so the agent builds a full, consistent interface instead of one isolated component. ## Who it is for Developers who already use an AI coding agent and want better, more consistent UI output from it. No design experience is required. ## How it works 1. Lay out your interface on the canvas as components. 2. Give each component its own targeted prompt — the hero gets one instruction, the CTA another, the nav another. 3. Configure your framework (Next.js, React, Vue, SvelteKit), styling (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules), and component library (shadcn/ui, MUI, Radix). 4. Turn on Strict Stack mode so the agent only uses what you listed — no hallucinated imports. 5. Click Export, copy the generated JSON context, paste it into your agent. ## How it differs from similar tools - **Figma** produces design files. UIPrompt produces agent-readable context. - **v0** produces a single component from a single prompt. UIPrompt describes your entire UI — every component, its purpose, the stack, and the constraints. - **Bolt / Lovable** host and run the generated app. UIPrompt stays in your existing workflow and feeds the agent you already use. ## MCP connector UIPrompt is also a remote MCP server at https://uiprompt.app/api/mcp with OAuth sign-in (paid plans). Add it as a custom connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code or Cursor: the agent can build a spec on the canvas and pull the finished build prompt with the `get_agent_context` tool, with no copy-paste. ## Supported AI coding agents Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Codex — and any other agent that accepts a prompt or context file. ## Key pages - Home: https://uiprompt.app/ - Pricing: https://uiprompt.app/pricing - v0 alternative comparison: https://uiprompt.app/compare/v0-alternative - Privacy Policy: https://uiprompt.app/privacy-policy - Terms of Service: https://uiprompt.app/terms-of-service
